BakitWhy.com got a chance to talk to forWord at the Rufio Ink Launch, where they had just transfixed the crown with their spoken word performance entitled “Shared Roots”. They are an arts collective with an emphasis on spoken word and creative writing, who aspire to encourage self expression, connect with other poets, and improve our creative skills in the process.

This group is comprised of four members; Susan Diep, Eddy M. Gana Jr., Mark Maza, and Stephanie Sajor, who met while students in the spoken word organization Uncultivated Rabbits at the University of California, Irvine.
