Love for the People: Rebuilding Hope, Continuing Resilience
KmB’s Love for the People is an event showcasing entertainment, arts, crafts, and threads —by the community and for the community! This year, Love for the People will continue the efforts to raise funds for our kasamas who were and are still affected by Typhoon Sendong in the southern region of Mindanao, Philippines.
Come through with friends and fam to share ‘n show some love on Saturday, February 11th, 5pm to 8pm @ The Park’s Finest (1267 W. Temple Street, LA 90026 | corner of Temple and Edgeware). The Park’s Finest will be selling food and you can catch performances by The Fighting Cocks, Sun E. Boi, KmB’s Spoken Word Collective, and The Black Noise.
Sessions LA will be spinning and there’ll be several visual artists and vendors — Beatrock Artists Manila Ryce, Alfie Numeric, and Mark Canto; plus Nena Soulfly, and IMIX Bookstore — showcasing their work and/or merch, and will be donating portions of their sales to the relief efforts.Admission to the event is free and all ages.
Donations are welcomed and encouraged, and will go to support Typhoon Sendong direct people-to-people relief.
